Residential Solar

Envision Your Solar Future

Imagine a home powered by the sun, where you're less reliant on the grid, your energy costs are predictable, and you're actively contributing to a sustainable future. Siskiyou Renewable Energy empowers you to envision that future. We specialize in designing and installing grid-tied solar systems that harness the power of the sun to generate clean electricity for your home. By choosing residential solar, you're not just investing in your property; you're investing in a greener tomorrow.

Your Solar Installation Journey

Siskiyou Renewable Energy is committed to making your transition to solar seamless and efficient. We use high-quality components, including Enphase Micro AC Inverters (IQ8 series), Sol-Ark 15k DC inverters, Sil-Fab Solar Panels, and Longi Solar Panels, ensuring a reliable and long-lasting system.

  • We begin with a thorough assessment of your property and energy needs. You'll provide your energy bill for the last 12 months, allowing us to accurately determine your usage and design a customized system.

  • Based on the site survey, we'll provide you with a detailed system design and a transparent quote.

  • Upon your approval, we'll finalize the contract and collect a down payment. We'll then handle all necessary permitting processes with the AHJ (Authority Having Jurisdiction)/County/City. For residential solar, we'll also submit plans to Pacific Power for net metering agreements, allowing you to receive credits for excess solar energy you produce.

  • Once permits are approved, our skilled electricians will install the inverters, upgrade main electrical panels if needed, and install backup panels for battery systems (if applicable). Our roofing crew will install the solar array on your roof or ground mount.

  • After installation, we'll coordinate all necessary inspections. For residential systems, once the inspection is approved, we'll work with Pacific Power to obtain permission to back-feed solar energy to the power grid for net metering.

  • Finally, your solar system will be fully operational, providing you with clean, renewable energy.
